Classic C10 buyers
Sell a Classic Chevrolet C10, 1960–1987
The C10 is the Chevrolet truck classic — 1960 to 1987, short-bed to long-bed — and four-wheel-drive K-series trucks are the ones we want most of all.
The offer we make is the offer you get for 7 days.*
The price holds as long as the vehicle, title, mileage, and condition match what you submitted. If hidden or unreported damage is found at pickup, we’ll make the adjustment and give you a counter-offer on the spot — and the decision is yours.

C and K: what the letters mean, and what we want
Chevrolet's naming is simple once it is said plainly: C-series trucks are two-wheel drive, K-series trucks are four-wheel drive. Both are wanted, but the K-series is our first priority — four-wheel drive is the number one specification we look for on any classic truck, and it holds true on a C10 as anywhere else. Within the run, the 1967 to 1972 trucks and the Square Body trucks of 1973 to 1987 are the generations sellers most often have.
Short-beds draw the strongest interest, and that is no secret — but a long-bed is still a wanted truck, and a complete work truck with an honest history is still a wanted truck. Body style adjusts the number; it does not decide whether we buy.
Condition, work history, and the inspection
C10s were work trucks, and most have the miles, dents, and repairs to prove it. None of that is held against them in an inspection: it is priced in, the way work history should be. What moves the number most is completeness — engine, transmission, bed, glass, trim, and interior present — and the body and frame: solid metal is worth real money, surface rust is ordinary condition, and a body rusted through is the line set out on our classic car hub.
Originality helps where it survives: an original drivetrain, a factory short-bed, a documented history. But a swapped-engine truck with a solid body is still a good truck, and a rough truck that has not run in years is still a truck we want to see, under the same rules as our classic Chevrolet page.
Complete C10s, running or not, picked up free
A complete C10 that does not run — even one whose engine is genuinely finished — can be bought, because these are pre-computer trucks that can be overhauled. Tell us the year, whether it is a C or a K, short-bed or long-bed, and how long it has sat; we inspect it where it sits in Orange County, and if you accept the offer you are paid at pickup and we tow it free. No fees, no consignment, no obligation.
Classic seller questions
Do you buy K-series four-wheel-drive trucks as well as C10s?
Yes — K-series trucks are our first priority on this page. Four-wheel drive is the top specification we look for on any classic truck.
Is a long-bed C10 worth selling?
Yes. Short-beds draw the strongest interest, but a complete, solid long-bed is a wanted truck and is priced on its own condition, not dismissed.
My C10 was a work truck with dents and high miles. Does that matter?
Only as condition, priced in the inspection. Work history is expected on these trucks; completeness and a solid body matter far more than a clean past.
My C10 has not run in years. Will you buy it?
If it is complete, yes — even with a dead engine. An incomplete truck, missing major parts, or one rusted through is the honest exception.
